IMPORTANT UPDATE PUBLISHED SATURDAY 22ND AUGUST. Miss Stiles has noticed that information below lists three different end of school day times for Year 3 from September. To confirm, Year 3 will start school at 8:50am and will finish at 3:20pm when they will need to be collected from school. If your Year 3 child has a sibling in Year 4 (end time 3:40pm) or Year 5 (end time 4:00pm), we will have arrangements in place to hold on to your child until these times and would ask that you inform the office on Thursday 3rd September or Friday 4th September if this is required and ahead of the children starting school on Monday 7th September. Many thanks and apologies for any confusion. Please note, as of Thursday 3rd September, there has been no feedback from Brighton & Hove on the risk assessment below. As staff have returned to school today, this is the risk assessment that we are working with. I have already been alerted to PE kits. On the days that children have PE they can come into school dressed in PE kits or bring their kit with them and change in class ready for their lesson.

Hello Year 2 parents/carers. We are all very much looking forward to welcoming you and your children to Stanford Junior School in September. Please view my recording (in two parts), and recordings made by other members of the school team, which provides information, and hopefully reassurance, relating to your child's transition to Stanford Junior School.
We will continue to add relevant information to this page between now and the end of term. I will also post any relevant information over the summer hoilday, so do check-in every now and then to ensure that you have all the information required.

A message from Mr Davis for our Year 2 parents/carers whose children will be transitioning to Stanford Junior School in September 2020. Since recording this message, Gavin Williamson has announced that the hope is for all children to return to school in September, with some control measures in place to ensure that all members of the school community are kept safe.
Dear new parents/carers, I am very much looking forward to meeting you and getting to know our new families, hopefully in September. In the meantime, here is a short recording which I hope will reassure you as we head towards the end of this 'interrupted' school year.
