Thank you for your hard work, leadership and support. Your courageous choices and ideas paid off. The whole school has a positive vibe. Thanks for your 'presence'.

Parent.

You have been an inspirational leader and, on so many levels, given me opportunities to develop and thrive. Thank you for your warmth and kindness.

A message from the Head Teacher

Welcome to Stanford Junior School.

In 2018, Ofsted judged Stanford Junior School to be a good school. Ask the children and staff what they think of our school and they will tell you that it is a great school.

Our teaching and non-teaching staff are committed to providing the very best learning experiences and opportunities for all children. We want every child to be inspired to give and achieve their very best during their time with us. We achieve this by focusing on the quality of teaching and learning combined with our rich and varied curriculum.

Our curriculum develops knowledge and skills progressively and a talented, and reflective, teaching team plan tasks and opportunities to excite the children whilst deepening their understanding of their world.

We have a strong and supportive community and our active PTFA are committed to enriching every child’s time at school.

All children have something to share - a hobby, interest, skill or talent - that makes each of them unique. Our task is to provide opportunities to grow each child, to inspire them as powerful learners and to create opportunities that enable each and every one of them to grow as well-rounded young people with the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.

I look forward to welcoming you and your child to Stanford Junior School and to working in close partnership.
