Physical and Mental Health Education and Sporting Provision

PMHE Doc

Coordinator: Mr Marshall and Miss Sealey.

At Stanford Junior School, we aim to provide a high quality physical and mental health education curriculum that has opportunities for our children to experience, enjoy and excel in a broad range of physical activities.

Through nurturing, teaching and celebrating individual talents and strengths we build self-esteem, develop confidence and encourage teamwork in both competitive sports and non-competitive sports and activities.

We develop skills and fitness to enable each child to be the best they can be, reach their full potential, and therefore be proud of their achievements.

We promote the positive impact of exercise on good health and well-being now and in the future and ensure that all physical activity is fun.
