Parent Carer Links
Improving communication across the whole school community
As well as regular newsletters, important dates in advance, texts and emails to parents, we have parent/carer links (PCLs) attached to each class. Parent/carer links from each year group meet termly, with members of the senior leadership team, to support the work of school staff.
The purpose of these PCL meetings is:
- to support school improvement;
- to be a means of communication between the school and parents and carers;
- to be a positive forum;
- to increase parental/carer involvement;
- to help foster positive links between PCLs and the PTFA.
